Nikon D4 Availability

Nikon D4 Features

The Nikon D4 was announced today January 5th, 2012 and is scheduled to be available for purchase sometime in February 2012. However you can pre-order online now.

You know what this means, yup all the Nikon pro’s and “sort of” pros will be looking to pre-order them as soon as possible. With a price tag of $6000 for the body only, it’s not exactly a camera you purchase as a birthday gift. In some countries this baby costs more than a car!

I’ll be placing the links where you can pre-order them below. As soon as they go live, the links will work.

  • Amazon –  You can sign up for an email alert when its available.*
  • Adorama – Taking pre-orders NOW!
  • B&H – Now taking pre-orders.
  • J&RTaking pre-orders

* Note that I would still check Amazon frequently since there may be a small delay from when you receive the email and when they start taking orders again.  (Thanks to a reader for the latest update).

Plus you can also pre-order the new Nikon 85mm f/1.8G AF-S NIKKOR Lens too.

Whether this new camera is in your ballpark or not, it seems to be what all the Nikon fans will be looking up to.

Here are a few notable features:

    An update on D4 ordering/pre-ordering:
    1) Amazon is only taking signups to be e-mailed when available–(NOT taking pre-orders any longer)

    2) Adorama IS still taking pre-orders

    3) B&H Is taking no signups at all (but estimates a Feb arrival)
