Sitting on a park bench
After a night of eating myself to sleep with lots of turkey, ham, stuffing and pie, I woke up this morning to the call of shopping. I went shopping for a while, but then came back to relax with friends and family. I noticed many great deals on camera’s, so you might want to look into it! I’m taking a break from the guests to check some emails and thought I would share another photo of this great looking Latina. I can’t say enough about her, she is just a joy to photograph. Attending the local community college and working at a real estate office, we get together on occasion to do some fun shoots.
Continue to have fun this weekend and remember, be safe! I’ll update the blog again soon sometime this weekend. Have to run now, the eating continues today, leftovers!

Sexy, bikini, or perhaps family photos may be your cup of tea, but one thing that I have experienced, its the person using the camera not the size of the megapixel that creates the image! I have talked about this before and each time a friend of mine or an email comes by asking about “how much megapixels should my next camera be?”, I think of one thing only…what are you going to use the images for?
A friend wanted some advice on a camera he wanted to buy. He knows I have a variety of camera’s from 6 Megapixels to 14 Megapixels. He was going to use it for simple family photos and to upload to the web to share with friends and family. A 6 Megapixel in its original size looks like this click here, when sharing a photo online, you will need to re-size the photo so most people will be able to see in on their monitor, like the photo below. So can you imagine how much larger a 14 Megapixel image would be? Well, here is one 14 megapixel image, click here. You can see how its too large to be sharing online to friends and family. So for what he will be using the camera, he does not need a high Megapixel camera, so no need to spend a lot of money on a camera. And this goes for the majority of the people out there. Don’t get caught up on the Megapixel question, find a camera that feels good on your hands and has features you like and will use!

Stephi is young woman I met a few years ago while visiting a local community college. She was talking to a mutual friend and from then on we hit it off, I knew she would be a great model, she had a cute face and a petite fit body! This outfit is actually hers, and she wanted to model in it, so who am I to argue! She looked good in it and she had fun. We shot outdoors and she had her friend with her, it was so funny because her friend could not believe she was modeling in that outfit! Apparently it was part of some old Halloween costume. She can come and pose for me any day! I may be shooting her again in a few weeks, lets hope this happens!
I’m also thinking of getting a new point and shoot camera, maybe a Canon G10 or Nikon Coolpix 6000. I currently use a Nikon DSLR and have always used Nikon, the Coolpix 6000 would be easy for me to use with my equipment, it does have a flash shoe so I can use my Nikon external flash with it. If I get the Canon G10, I would have to start purchasing Canon accessories, but not much. Canon G10 is a much better camera, so maybe I’ll take the plunge. I really want it so when I go in short trips I don’t have to take my DSLR and lenses, it does get bulky. My Nikon lens 80-200mm 2.8AF-D alone is a bit heavy, I really do need to get an additional small camera. Maybe Santa will get it for me, after all…I have been good this year!
